Introduction
About Boiler Room
Boiler Room is an independent music platform and cultural curator, connecting club culture to the wider world, on screen and IRL through parties, film and video.
Boiler Room started with a webcam taped to a wall, opening a keyhole into London’s underground, since 2010.
Maison Valentino
The house of Valentino is based in the heart of Rome, the Eternal City, and expresses a point of view on the contemporary world using history as a playground and the Atelier as a place that produces both beauty and thought. The story began in 1960. 2016 marks a new beginning, under the Creative Direction of Pierpaolo Piccioli.
Bree Runway
The pint sized Hackney local Bree Runway is the UK’s answer to Lil Kim and Missy Elliott (with whom she has collaborated) in one. With a uniquely punk style, she’s fast becoming one of the globe’s most striking R&B artists, with Michelle Obama amongst her growing horde of admirers.
Ichon
French artist Ichon has worked with some of France’s greatest creative minds, from collaborating with some of the hottest French rappers (Hamza, Myth Syzer) to working with top fashion designers (Pigalle, Margiela, Weston.) Three years ago, he decided to dedicate time to realign and focus on his inner self. His story and “his truth” can be heard in last year’s standout LP “Pour de Vrai”.
Woo
24-year-old South Korean rapper Woo Won-Jae sprung to fame in 2017 after appearing on the popular hip-hop competition show Show Me The Money, resulting in a record deal with Jay Park’s AOMG. Now one of the most respected young hip-hop artists on the scene, Woo is the quintessential Gen Z rapper: he embraces his struggles, faces his demons and remains hopeful for the future.
Claire Laffut
Claire Laffut makes French pop music with no hidden agenda: her choice is organic and her voice is natural. World music makes subtle, elegant appearances. She tends towards a lively, dance-inducing, imperfect vibe – that’s just how she likes it.
Blanco
Blanco, aka Riccardo Fabbriconi, was born in 2003, in Italy. After being noticed by Eclectic Music, he released under the Island Records label, many singles, like “Notti In Bianco” and “LA CANZONE NOSTRA” with Mace and Salmo, which was certified triple platinum. In February he released the single “Paraocchi” and after the song “Tutti Muoiono” feat. Madame, on June 17 the artist released the new single “Mi Fai Impazzire” with Sfera Ebbasta. The single soon reached #1 on Spotify’s Top 50 with more than 20 million streams, achieving platinum award.
